“Think on your sins.”

「想想你的罪過。」

電影開始沒多久，片中的「好人」與片外的觀眾，同時得到這麼一個意在警告、如謎語似的訊息，而隨著劇情的推展，答案也就不揭自明了。

Think on sb./sth. 是指思考反省之意，think也可以contemplate或reflect取代:

I thought on Dr. K.T. Lee and how much Taiwan owes him.

She thought on all the sufferings they must have endured.

Think about 是口語中比較常用的講法，請看這段YouTube上的嚴姐訓弟，確是最佳範例:

“Think about it, Gabriel. Think about it.”

Think of 可用來表達記得或想到(例如在音樂劇The Phantom of the Opera中，如泣如訴的”Think of Me”)、視為、考慮等諸多意思:

Italy is the country I always think of when people talk about Renaissance.

He thinks of himself as a genius.

She is thinking of quitting the job.

Think over 有深思熟慮的意思: He made up his mind after thinking it over for a week.
